Brazilian court proposes tool that will be audited by control bodies around the world
The Federal Audit Court (TCU) launched, at COP28, in Dubai, a global platform to monitor climate actions. The tool, called ClimateScanner, will be audited by control bodies around the world.
ClimateScanner will collect, consolidate and publicize data on government actions related to climate change. The tool will examine country data across three main axes: public policies, governance and financing.
The platform will be launched in March 2024 and aims to promote transparency and accountability of governments in relation to climate change.
