Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners Invests 5.6 Billion in Renewable Energy

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is a Danish company specializing in managing one of the largest renewable energy funds in the world. With a capital of €5.6 billion (US$ 6.2 billion), the company aims to invest in power system installations to drive the global transition to renewable sources.

The aim of the CIP is to establish a fund greenfield of renewable energy that reaches the mark of € 12 billion, making it one of the largest in the world in this sector. The fund will focus on large-scale investments in renewable energy infrastructure. The proposal aims to promote the diversification of investments and technological processes, covering both wind projects offshore how much onshore.

The market proposition has proven favorable as projects expand. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners already has a broad portfolio of investments, spanning offshore wind and onshore, photovoltaic solar energy, biomass and energy from waste, energy transmission and distribution, reserve capacity, storage, advanced bioenergy and Power-to-X technology.

CIP is a leading company that stands out in the renewable energy sector, focused on managing a diversified portfolio of investment funds. The company currently manages 11 funds, totaling around €25 billion in capital available for investment. These funds are made up of more than 150 international institutional investors. Its aim is to drive the global transition to clean and sustainable energy sources, contributing to a greener future.
